Is there a possibility to hide alternative dimensions in a (bar)chart based on if there is data available (like a count statement)?

I would like to hide alternative dimensions from my (bar)charts based on if there is data available.

I want to do this because if a a user selects a dimensions where no data is available, the chart will become unresponsive and there is no way to choose another dimension.

I tried hiding the label by using a count statement, but using this solution the user will still be able to select the dimension, there will just be an empty label.

Is there any way to hide alternative dimensions totally?
