I am trying to implement MTD, YTD, PMTD & PYTD. But I am facing issue with implementing it through variables and it isn't working with expression in the set analysis as well.
My Expression :-
Sum({$<Transaction_Date={"$(= >= & Date(MonthStart(Max(Transaction_Date),-1), 'YYYY-MM-DD') & <= & Date(AddMonths(Max(Transaction_Date),-1), 'YYYY-MM-DD'))"}>} Quantity) --> this expression works only if I Select the date manually if there is nothing selected it gives me blank or 0.
Can somebody help me with the expression and explain why I am facing issues with implementing variables in Qlik Sense.
