KPI that can synch with alternate measures?

Hi

I have a histogram with alternative measures and a KPI.  Is it possible to have the formula for the KPI also update if someone changes the alternative measure in the histogram.  For example, if the histogram is showing "Discount Margin" the KPI shows weighted average Discount Margin.  If the user changes the measure to Yield, then the KPI shows weighted average yield?
