Link dimension searchable by label

Hi all

Does anyone know if it is possible to configure a dimension to be a URL, add a label but then be able to search by the label. As you can see I have an "ECN Number" field and then a "Link to Windchill" which is the URL to the document location with the label being the ECN number but unfortunately the search on the Link field shows the URL meaning that I have to have the same field showing twice as users needs to be able to search by ECN Number.

Any ideas  if this is possible or anyone got any clever work-arounds?

Thanks in advance

Hi, try to do like this: duplicate your [ECN Number] dimension and represent it as 'Link' but as 'Link settings' choose not 'Add label', but 'Add URL'. Add your 'link to windchill' as 'Link to URL'. Now in search you should see just ECN number, but link will forward to url.

* in my example Link URL :

='https://www.google.com/search?q='& [ECN Number]
