Load colors into master dimension

Is it possible to load color codes from an external file and apply them to a master dimension's values?

Thank you, Brunobertels. Those are useful, but they don't solve my issue. I'd like to assign variables to the colors for all values in a master dimension. In the example below, I'd like to replace #b0afae with $(vColor_Grey), ideally in the load script.

I can imagine a load statement that (1) creates a master dimension, (2) loads values from a field or inline, and (3) sets its parameters including value colors. But I guess it's just a dream at this point...
