Looking for clarification re Bookmarks vs. Publishing over an app
Hi,
It's been a while since I worried about bookmarks and publishing over apps that have those. But here we are. 🙂
So, can someone please take some minutes to remind me Qlik Sense's behaviour regarding in a scenario where the published app has Public bookmarks (some created by me years ago, other by other devs) and also a few Community bookmarks.
Questions:
1- If I clone the app, on my Work stream I expect the "clone" to show the bookmarks that, in the production app, as Public AND were created by me in the development app (as expected, no non-mine Public or any Community bookmarks are included in the clone as they aren't "mine") - is this correct?
2- If I create a new bookmark in the cloned app, and publish the app over the production one, where will that bookmark show? Public? My Bookmarks?
My end goal is to simply to clone the app, add a new bookmark pointing to a new sheet that I'm creating, without "disturbing" the existing Public and "Community" bookmarks.
Any and all clarification thrown my way will be greatly appreciated.
