Mapping Regions and Countries on map without Dissolve operation in GeoAnalytics

Hi,

As our Qlik Geo Analytics is not activated,we are unable to use the dissolve operation to map Regions like LATAM,

ASEANZ,AME to countries like Mexico,Afghanistan,Australia etc.

Is it possible to map Regions to countries without geo analytics ..maybe by using if condition ?

I tried to map using if condition but it is working only if a region has a single country ..It gives error when multiple countries are present for a single region.

eg:if(Region='Asia',if(Country='India' or Country='Pakistan',Country)) as country_new

Please help.

the only possible way i know is to get an .kml file where the region definitions are stored.
Qlik can easily load from .kml files
