Merging Two Field values

Hi All

I have merged two field values coming from 2 tables into a single dimension on Qliksense frontend but on selection,  the merged values get selected too along with some hidden selection applied. Is that avoidable?

I used this code below:

=pick(match($Field,'Col1','Col3'),Col1,Col3)
