Monthly applications

Hi,

My data is forever moving. I have a daily application. Every month i create a monthly app called May 2018, following month in create June 2018 and so on. i then publish these apps to several different streams.

The reason for this is because what is recorded for Jan Feb March April May will look different in the May app to how it looks in the June app as the users are entitled to go back and change their data.

My users however have the requirement to always know what Jan, Feb etc looked like in May, as well as know what it looks like in other months.

My approach works but it makes the process of publishing every month quite unweildly.

Is there anything i can do to automate this?

If you don't mind,Could you please convey in some other way..why you are creating different applications based on month....

i'll try.

I have figures for May, Which at the end of May will total say 100.

But at the end of June May's figures might be 110. So within the model the users can see what the figures are now for every month (i.e. May =110). But they also need access to what the figures were for May back at the end of May.(100)

The only way i can figure this out it to actually store a model at the end of May so the figures for this model remain static and May will always still say 100.

Does that make sense?
