Multiple associations between two tables

I'm using Qlik Sense Enterprise.

I have two excel views, Production and Downtime

The thing is, tables are like:

PRODUCTION

  • Date
  • Shift
  • Area
  • Line
  • Programmed time
  • ... more data

DOWNTIME

  • Date
  • Shift
  • Area
  • Line
  • Downtime
  • ... more data

I want to associate the first 4 columns, in order to have them as filters and make charts with the relations of Programmedtime-Downtime, but on data manager it only allows me to have 1 association, if i want to create another one it replaces the first one.

Can you make a composite key (calculated field) in both tables using those 4 fields?

Date & Shift & Area & Line and then name the key something like CompositeKey?

G'day @KarlaB,

I agree with Eric that the answer is a composite key but my extra comment is that this is much easier to do in the Data Load Editor than in the Data Manager. You'll need to join together the first four columns as Eric says, and also rename the raw columns in one table so that they don't join.

Cheers, Barnaby.
