Objects And Filter Pane Contents Not Displayed For Some Users

Hi,

We have a problem that has recently started to appear.

We have QlikSense On Windows Version November 2021 (this problem also happens on a February 2023 version) and since a couple of days when some of our users log-in then some objects (often pivot-tables, combo charts and line diagrams) are empty - there is a space where they should be displayed and Filter Panes are empty (the Filter Panes exists, but when you click on them there is no data). Other objects do contain data (for example Straight tables) but if you click in a magnifying glass icon in a straight table column (that contains data) then there is no data shown. If they click on "Selections" they cannot see any fields at all (see attached printscreen).

The only way for our users to get around this is to do a hard refresh in the webbrowser. This is not an ideal solution.

But for other users, this is not a problem at all - even if they log-on to the same dashboard (a dashboard with Section Access).

We also have an old April 2020 QS environment, and there this error does not seem to appear (for the same dashboard and users).

Do you have any ideas what has caused this? We have made no changes to the VM on which QS is running nor any other major changes to the infrasctructure.

There does not seem to be any error nor warning messages in the log files for when the issue occurs.

I have found what seemed to be  a related issue in the post "QlikSense On Opening Sheet, Charts display slowly or do not display" but the suggested workaround (restarting of QS services) did not work and the solution (Service Account not being able to access the QlikShare on the network) is not a problem in our environment.

Do you have any ideas what this could be?

TIA,

Paul
