Pick(Wildmatch) not working

I am using the following expression in the filter pane to list five items in the dropdown. But it only shows 1st, 3rd and 5th item. Can anyone help me understand why it is not showing all the items in the dropdown?

=Pick(Wildmatch([DATACOLUMN],'*ON*','*FR*','*AB*','*QC*','*EN*'),'ONTARIO','FRENCH','ALBERTA','QUEBEC','ENGLISH')
