Pivot table design and column width

Hi, 

Is there a way to to customise a pivot table? Mainly, I'm looking for how to reduce the column width.  I have the following example in a pivot table with 12-18 columns (city names), and it is not possible to see them all at once, because it keeps this column width despite all the empty space.

I haven't been able to find a solution or an extension that could be useful (apart from the VizLib ones which we cannot pay). 
Are you aware of any solution? 

Is this something coming for new releases?
