QLIK Sense Mashups: Is there any way to copy the text from a table without exporting the data?

Greetings Community Members,

We are in need of your expert guidance here on QLIK Sense Mashup pages. Thanks for the help here.

To explain the current scenario, we have an existing ticketing tool which is currently published as a web page (which gets refreshed automatically after every 10 minutes) & shows all the open tickets on which teams need to work upon. so as a process, they copy the ticket number from the page.. paste it in another system & do their assigned work.

We have been able to replicate the same in QLIK Sense as Mashup & it is working fine.... with an exception where engineers cannot copy the text directly from the Mashup page... they need to export the data in excel each time (page is refreshed in every 10 mins so they need to export the data again & again) to get the ticket number.. which comes as a challenge & defeats the purpose of bringing it to QLIK.

so we are wondering it there is any way (by using some workaround, or any extension available or anything else) through which this issue can be overcome. Engineers should be able to copy the ticket number directly from mashup page.

Any help would be more than welcome here.

Best Regards,

Rahul Goyal

It is possible doing by using an chrome extension called 'Qlik Sense Export'.

The VizLib Table extension (among others) has a Copy To Clipboard options.

You could also try to use the Engine API to get only the data from the QS app and use custom javascript to visualize the data in your page.

talk is cheap, supply exceeds demand

Thank you Gysbert for reverting back.

We have already tried that but somehow it is not working in Mashup pages.

I think cost charged by the developer company is also another constraint..

Best Regards,

Rahul
