Qlik SAP BW connector error - Dates as Null values

I'm working on an upgrade with the SAP connector. I currently have version 8.0.2 of the SAP connector and plan to upgrade to version 8.1.0. In this new version of the SAP connector, the SAP InfoProvider and SAP BEx connections have been deprecated. To continue with the upgrade, I'm replacing these connections with the new SAP BW connection.
The problem with the SAP BW connector is that when I read data from a BEx Query object, the "0CALDAY" attribute returns null values. This attribute returns dates with the SAP BEx connector.
I've configured the new SAP BEx connector with the "BEx Legacy Mode (datatypes)" option, and the formats are identical to the old connector, except for these null date values. I've tried enabling the "BEx Legacy Mode (script)" option and all possible combinations, without success.
I've reviewed the release notes, and it seems that version 8.1.0 fixes several issues with the SAP BW connector. Here's a link to the SAP connector release notes:
