I am using Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows and I have a problem with a specific App. Indepentently from where this app is located (my personal space in the Qlik Sense Hub or published in a stream) when opening the app it is stuck on the loading page saying "initialize..." or "app is loading". The app was last reloaded on July 1st and doesn't have an reload-task. Since July 1st there has been no change to the app or the data but since yesterday I cannot open a personal or published version of the app even though the app is published in several streams as well.
When opening the app without data and then loading the data in the data editor everything works fine.
I already looked in other forum pages but cannot find an answer to my problem. Does anyone has an idea what happened?

When opening the app without data, have a look at the data model, compare it to a publish version htat does open.
Do you have (a few to start with):
1. Synthetic Keys
2. Broken links between the tables (this will cause ram explosion with calculations across both)
3. Broken to incorrect Variables.
Please give feedback on how you get on.

unfortunately none of the published versions open as well. But when opening the app without data and then loading the data I do not have any synthetic keys and the data is loaded within 10 seconds. The app is not very big and we have basic visualisations within the app.

Pl check browser dev tool using 'Ctrl Shift I' if you see any error.
Did you try duplicating app and then publish?
You mentioned it worked fine after loading it through load editor, did it again fail when you publish this good copy to prod streams?
Any event took place after it worked okay last time, like Qlik Sense upgrade etc? I am just throwing some ideas to identify the root cause.
No error when checking dev tools. When I duplicate the app and open it the normal way I still get stuck on the loading page. Only when opening it without data, I can get into the app. When I load the data and then publish the app everything works fine and you can open the app in those streams.
We did not change something at our server... no update, no additional installations.
Considering there is no change in app.
1: Check there is any drastically change in QVD sizing.
2: restart QlikSense service. Clear RAM & then open app and in parallel window open Task Manager on Server. Check How much memory it is consuming? Does it consuming 95+% RAM or stuck on 100% CPU consumption. If it steady at that level then there issue in Size of data or logic which you build.

we cannot rebuild that problem due to re-publishing the app in the streams so that people are able to work. Thanks for your support and the ideas! If we problem occurs again I will get back to your instructions and try to find out more. For the moment I guess we just have to check whether the problem occurs again and in which cases.
