Qlik Sense Area layer filter

I have created an Area layer with different polygons that I have plotted in a map, and on top of that in the same map in a different layer I have added points (Point layer), the question is how can I filter the points that are within the selected polygon of the Area layer when I select one of them.

I can do this by adding a column to the points that refer to the polygon name the point belongs to, but I don't want to do that, just want to filter points that are within the coordinates of the polygon selected.

Anyone can help?

hi

if you have qlik geo analytics license

you can run a within algorithm in your script that

will create the connection between each point and the polygon that contain her

furthermore if you work with Qlik sense on Kubernetes you can run the same function on-demand by users in the front-end

Thanks for the response, can you guide me how I can do that in Qlik Sense, I have Geo analytics enabled and your answer sounds like what I wanted to get.
