Qlik Sense Installation

Hi,

I am installing freshly on new Server, Enterprise Nov 2025, in previous installation I had user like this brandanalytics\user1, now I have been given user to access VM as branduser, I want user to be using same userdomain.

Q1 Do I need to first set up Active Directory on another server and create this netbiosname - brandanalytics and then use it in below screenshot during installation. Planning to set Additional Domain Controller too to this.

Happy to help!

Yes, you must have an Active Directory entry for this user established first, with the user added to it. 

Installing Qlik Sense on a server that is not part of this domain will prevent you from using the previous user during installation.
