Hi Folks, looking for a any help/clarification to an issue we have been facing:
In February 2018 p2
I have a straight Table with 500,000 rows with 1 dimension and 6 Measures Which I wish to export using Right-click Export Data Feature.
I am presented with a "Hypercube is too large " error
I am using the Only function which allows me to create a measure of what other wise is a dimension. The one dimension I have is unique.
Alternatively, I have a straight table with 500,000 rows with 8 Dimensions
This File downloads fine.
I took a look at the document below which Qlik help documentation references as far as limitations.
Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to make sense of the numbers.
Does anyone know how are the dimension of a straight table hypercube constructed?
or how to get the Hypercube size?
FYI, I found that there was a fix for this in November 2018.
Export of complex data causes “hypercube results too large” error message Jira issue ID: QLIK-89542 Description: Large Excel export with many columns and rows fails. Export should now handle up the Excel maximum regardless of the data size
i'd still want to know more about how the straight table hypercubes are just to have that in mind .
