Hi,
i have a qlik map with a custom background.
I set the dimension and activated to display the labels of the dimension in the map.
They are shown fine, but when i hover with the mouse over a dimension in the map,
the coordinates of the area are shown. This is not really what the user wants to see i'm afraid.
I tried with dual() and with a master dimension but nothing worked.
Is this a bug or a feature i dont understand?
Would be glad for some help here.
Thanks a lot!
No, this is not from an extension. It's an option in the standard qlik map chart (feb 2020 release).
Maybe you are on a release that doens't have this yet.
You can also do show/hide tooltip, this has been available a little longer if I am correct.
Layer - Options - General.
In your layer go to Options - Tooltip.
There you can turn the tooltip off or make it custom.
Hi,
i think you are talking about the svg reader extension.
I am using the qlik map chart - there you dont have that option i'm afraid 😕
