Qlikview text format to date format

Hi all Qlikview users,

I want to convert [YearMonth] field to Date format.

I have tried this function in Qlikview object dimension "=Date(Date#([YearMonth], 'YYYY-MM'), 'MMM YYYY')".

The result showed Nov 2023, it look correct. However when the trigger email to user, the date column in excel file is

in Text data type.  Can anyone advise me how should I do in order to let the date column show in date format instead

when Qlikview trigger email.

Try it with a real date from the data-model. This means each day is set to 1 and the formatting is set to the Excel default-format for the users region.
