I am working on a global dashboard DataModel for EMEA, APAC, and NA Operations Centers. One of the themes for requested KPI's is items created today. Our transaction Create Times are stored in GMT (field is [Create Date]). Each region wants to be able to see how many transactions were created "Today" relative to their region.
My thought was to flag each item by creating 3 variables to calculate 3 fields:
vAPAC would give me "TODAY" based on the current time in GMT+8
vEMEA would give me "TODAY" based on the current time in GMT+2
vNA would give me "TODAY" based on the current time in GMT-4
QS Server is on EST (GMT-4).
Using the Variables I could then compare the regional "TODAY" to the converted Create Time and flag if the record was actually created "Today"
