Select Data - Blank screen, no error message

I am having issues loading data into my Qlik desktop application.

I have set up a rest connection pointing at my web service (running locally at the moment).

When I attempt to load the CSV from the service I get a loading spinner briefly and then this screen:

There is no error message or anything. Just blank.

It works if I load the same CSV from disk.

What is the problem here? Is there some way to debug it? Getting no messages back means I have no idea what went wrong, if anything!?

It's been almost one year since your post... But I'd like to let you know that a reboot of the machine where I have Qlik Server installed solved that same issue for me.
