ShowHide Container Not working?

Hi All,

I have created 2 master objects, I then added a show hide container extension object to my page and added the 2 master objects to this.

The conditional show is not working for me and I am stumped as to why!

I have made it really simple whereby the conditional object should show when:

count(distinct REGION) = 1

However, when a region is selected the default chart is still shown.  Has anyone come across this issue?  Is it a bug with the version I am using? or is there something glaringly obvious I am missing out here.

I am using version April 2020 13.72.4
Thanks in advance

investigating further the show hide object has been deprecated and is replaced by the "normal container" which can have conditional shows.

Thanks

Hello, could you please share a sample application or screenshot about the issue you are getting? So this way I can try to have a look at this behavior 😊 Thanks

Hi Patricia

Please find doc attached.  the container is at the bottom.  i thought it would show the table if 1 region is selected.

Hello, I have checked your app and found out that it seems you were using an extension and I think it was this one maybe? https://github.com/fadyheiba/ShowHide and https://developer.qlik.com/garden/583764c83dc0cfc4138afa26

I have also tested it with Show/Hide container from the Qlik Dashboard Bundle (which is available since 2019 release): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6DM-T8zywE and then it does work with the condition you specified: =count(distinct REGION) = 1

Could you please check it from the app I am also sharing with you? I have added this object so you can also check and let me know if that is what you needed? 😊

Thanks,
Patricia

thanks Patricia,

I do not see this as an option in my visualisation bundle though which is why I used the extension that seemed to be part of the installation pack.
