Story not keeping selections when exported to Powerpoint

Hi

I've created a story with two embedded sheets, both are the same sheet with different selections made.  In story presentation mode in Sense they work fine - sheet 1 shows the embedded sheet with one set of selections, sheet 2 shows the embedded sheet with the second set of selections.

When exported to Powerpoint or PDF however, both sheets show the same selections.  They seem to take the selections of the second sheet.

Is there a solution to this, or is it a bug?  This is on server, June 2017 release, and on desktop June 2017.

For future reference, turns out this was a bug, resolved in June 2017 patch 2:

Exporting to PDF only retains the value of selections of the active sheet Jira issue ID: QLIK-58913 Description: PDFs retain only the selections on the active sheet of the story rather than the selections as presented in the story.

Is this bug back again in the november 2017 release (patch 1 and 2)?

I've just tested in the November release and yes, it looks like this bug is back.  It's different though, previously if you embedded the same sheet in a story multiple times with different selections, the selections were retained in the story, they were just lost when exporting to Powerpoint.  Now it looks like the selections are lost when the sheet is embedded, so it shows the same on each sheet when the story is run, which is even worse.

Hopefully to be fixed in patch 3 or the next release.

We can't wait this long. This bug is also in the initial and Patch1 release. It's really hard to understand that this is not noticed or solved in patch 2. Our customers use this functionality every day. I need to do a roleback

i tried alot of things to create a workaround .. nothing worked

This seems to be fixed in the February 2018 release.  Selections are retained in the story and in the export to Powerpoint.

This appears to still be broken in the February 2018 release. Not only are filter selections lost when exporting, they are also lost when moving between pages in a story (I'm unsure if the latter is intentional but it seems odd).

i created a bug support ticket for this. result : this is not going to be fixed. But i works now as intended. the other option (keeping the selection when exporting a story) was the bug

i suggest to keep both options

In the Latest release the exporting of stories to powerpoint and PDF is very very erratic. When you embed the same sheet with different selections half of the time the filters change and half of the time they don't. It seems that some browsers work better then others. Chrome seems to behave the way you would expect with the export matching what you see but I.E. 11 is all over the map.
