I built a task chain that has a kick off event at 5 AM and then continues to reload every few minutes. This part is working fine. The part that is not working is the planned timeout. The continuous reloads are supposed to stop 18 hours after they start at 11 PM.
Task A executes at 5 AM.
Task B executes at 5 AM.
Task C executes upon success of tasks A & B with a timeout of 18 hours.
Task A executes again upon success of Task C. This creates a perpetual loop that is intended to run until 11 PM.
Task B does not execute again until 5 AM the next day.
My thought was that because Task C has an 18 hour time constraint and Task B only runs once per day, that at around 11 PM Tasks A & C would stop running. It didn't work out that way though.
