I have an animator object that cycles through the date field chronologically. However, when user enters the sheet with the animator, a value in date field has already been selected. The Animator button cannot cycle through date field if only one value is available in the date field, even if i enter {1}date_field in the set expression property of the animator object.
Therefore, the ideal solution would be to create a button chart that 1) clears date field selection and 2) triggers the Animator button - but I don't know if that is possible.
A less efficient solution would be to have the button called 'Enable Animator' that clears the date selection and then makes the animator button appear, prompting the user to click on the Play button.
