I have identified the cause — it is related to the HTTP (port 80) vs. HTTPS (port 443) connection.
When accessing via HTTPS (443), the app’s details panel can be modified successfully, whether using host name or IP address.
However, when accessing via HTTP (80), the details panel cannot be modified, regardless of host name or IP.
In the Nov 2024 release, modifying the details panel worked fine over both HTTP and HTTPS.
I would appreciate it if the product team could advise whether in May 2025 we need to adjust any QMC settings, or if this will require a future patch to address.😣

I’m currently using Qlik Sense Enterprise May 2025 Patch 3, but I’m unable to update any of the fields in the Edit details panel through the Hub — including:
1. App name (Title)
2. Thumbnail image
3. Description
My account has a Professional license, and I’m doing this in my personal workspace (not published to a stream). I have confirmed that my account has the required permissions.
When I make changes and click Done, nothing is saved — the details remain the same.
Has anyone else experienced this? Could this be a bug in this version, or is there a setting I need to adjust?

I followed your suggested approach, but unfortunately, I still cannot modify the app’s details panel.
To troubleshoot further, I removed Patch 3, repaired Qlik Sense via the installer, reinstalled Patch 3, and rebooted the server.
I noticed an interesting behavior:
1. When accessing the Hub via host name, I can successfully update the app details panel (app title, thumbnail, and description).
2. When accessing via IP address, the changes are not applied after clicking Done.
To confirm, I also tested after removing Patch 3 (repair + reboot without patch), and the behavior remained the same: host name works, IP address fails.
This is confusing because in the previous version(Nov 2024), both host name and IP access allowed modifications without any issue.
Could this version require additional configuration in QMC?
Or is this truly a bug?
For reference, the video attached shows the same user and same app — only the connection method (host name vs. IP) is different.

Hello. Yes, I have the same symptoms and also QlikSense May 2025.
Via HTTPS connection everything is working fine, via HTTP connection - I can not modify anything in the details tab.
QS tech support reported it to me as a bug and promised to work on the resolution. But thanks to you, I have an HTTPS workaround now!
