Unable to multiply variables/get totals in pivot charts

Hi all,

I'm trying to run a simple what-if analysis (see my attached sheet).

I'm quite new in Qlik Sense and I can't figure out why I don't get totals in my pivot tables. I'm working with variables and can send the qvf file if needed.

Also I'm simply trying to get the new revenue in the box at the bottom of the sheet but this expression does not work (however each variable works individually):

sum($(vNewPrice)*$(vNewQty))

I would really appreciate your help!

Do you have expressions behind these variables or just fields?

I've figured this out using an aggr expression.

Althought, I'm still confused with my input variables that won't work in my pivot table (QVF attached).
