Why it is not possible to use drill down dimension in Variable Input Control

Hi everyone

Why is it not possible to use a drill down dimension in a Variable Input Control with which one could choose the desired dimension and the change in dimension then automatically is overtaken to all diagramms in focus?

Hi @JossMatthias ,

Variable Input needs a single value selection, while Dimensions contain many values. What you describe looks like a filter to me.

Hi @F_B,

It is possible to us Variable Input as dimension selection. This works for all dimensions exept of the type drill down. But the newly published (Mai Version) cyclic dimension now nearly fulfills what we need. Not enterily though.
