how to change chart type in qlik sense

If I have created a bar chart and want to change it to a line chart or combo chart, how can I do this? This was very simple in QlikView and seems to be missing in QlikSense. Many times, you set up the dimensions and expressions first, then you need to try different visualizations but if you have already chosen a chart type it is a pain in the neck. What am I missing?

I make a copy of the original chart, then drag the new chart type onto the copy, in the popup select "Convert to: XXXX".
