removing a item from dimension - qlik sense

Hiya

i know how to remove an element e.g a shopping department from a sum in a measure

is there a way to do this in a dimension?

i have a bar chart and have, a sum in a measure ...that has a calculation that includes removing "total sale time" however it still shows on bar graph as 00:00:00

Have you tried enabling the Suppress Zero Values and Suppress Missing options?
