why would a document that is 16mb publish as 3gb?

Hi All -

I have a 16mb qvf. When I run the task in publisher it shows 3gb on the access point. Any ideas on what's happening?

Using QlikView 12.7

Thanks!

The Qlik Engine needs more memory to evaluate all calculations that you have defined. Sometimes A LOT more.

The qvf just holds the data and the definitions of al visualisations - and it is compressed. But once loaded, each visualisation will need memory to calculate. And if the measure is complex, e.g. if it uses an Aggr(), it will need quite a lot.

So it is probably no error.
