Hi everyone, I have a question about Qlik → DataHub lineage.
In Qlik Cloud, I created some new tables and dashboards that are built from other existing tables inside the same Qlik app. Inside Qlik I can see the lineage (Load Script origin, table dependencies, etc.). Then I ingested this app into DataHub using the standard YAML ingestion recipe.
However, in DataHub I only see the Qlik entities (app, sheets, etc.), but I don’t see any lineage between the Qlik tables or between dashboards. Is this expected? Does Qlik expose the internal table-to-table / sheet-to-table lineage through an API that can be captured by external tools like DataHub? Or is Qlik’s internal lineage only available inside Qlik Cloud UI?
Basically: If I create tables in Qlik that depend on other tables, and then ingest via YAML, should I expect DataHub to show lineage between them? Or is that lineage not exposed through the APIs?
I'd consider our implementation a somewhat semi-functional abandonware implementation that I get to look at 2-3 times a year to figure out what may be happening and re-recommend that we pay for support, go to them. If the BA hasn't had time or inclination to learn it then why should I? https://speedtest.vet/
