Automating a data download from Qlik

Hi,

    I am wondering if someone can point me to automating a download from Qlik. Any help would be appreciated.

@MaheshSurendran ,

This is good information.

It is simpler now. You should be able to create a folder connection as well, but that's not available for you based on the screenshot.

You will have to request your Qlik Sense Administrator to create a security rule to allow you to create a folder data connection.

That way, you will be able to finally drop the file automatically on the network upon reload.

Ping me when you have completed this step, ok?

Check below the difference between your screenshot and mine.

Hi Hugo,

    I have contacted the Qlik folks in the company asked if they could allow me to create a folder data connection. Let us wait to see how that works out.

    Thanks again.

@MaheshSurendran , the idea is to allow you to be able to create the folder connection. Then you will need to update the script and include a STORE command.

Let me share the reference for that command as well: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Scripting/ScriptRegularS...

Hi Hugo,

   Our administrator informed me that it is not possible to create a folder data connection. Is there any other solution you can think of?
