I am planning to clone the source and connect my final dataset to that cloned source

Will it affect all the charts in my dashboard

Hi Manassrivastava,

Thanks for the question. Your charts will not be affected if the cloned source contains exactly the same data of the original one and if you correct the script to import the data from the new cloned source correctly.

In fact, the charts that you create in Qlik Sense or QlikView are based on the data that are imported when you load the script. This data is saved and re-organized in the Qlik file (QVW or QVF) and from that moment it is independent from the sources.
