SAP Message Server Connection over a SAP router

Hi @all I hope some of you can help me.

I have a problem with the connection from the Qlik Sense Server to the SAP System. I have to connect over a SAP router to the SAP Message Server.

I use this Host string for the connection /H/"SAP-ROUTER-IP"/S/3299/H/"Message-Server-IP"/S/3610

But I get an error message: "System Call connect errno 10060"

I tested different Host strings

  • /H/"SAP-ROUTER-IP"/H/"Message-Server-IP"/
    • Error Message: Test Connection failed:

2020-12-04 10_12_38-Clipboard.jpg

  • /H/"SAP-ROUTER-IP"/H/"Message-Server-IP"/S/3310
    • Error Message: Test Connection failed:

2020-12-04 10_12_38-Clipboard.jpg

The last test was a connection directly to an application server with this Host string

  •  /H/"SAP-ROUTER-IP"/H/”Application-Server-IP”/S/3310

This connection works very well

Here some other information. We are using the SAP SQL connector Version 7.0.4 and the Qlik Sense Server Version February 2020

Hi!

Have you tried:
/H/addr.to.SAPRouter/S/the.gateway.port/H/addr.to.SAPsystem

Håkan

The customer installs the Logon Pad from SAP and creates a connection to the message server. Afterward, I test the connection again but I got the same error message. Somebody has a solution for this.

The following host strings I have tested:

/H/"SAP-ROUTER-IP"/S/3299/H/"Message-Server-IP"/S/3610

/H/"SAP-ROUTER-IP"/S/3299/H/"Message-Server-IP"

Hi,

There are a few things you can check. See page 3 and 4 in the Tips and Tricks document regarding  SAP services file and passing through a firewall:
