It is Qlik View to Qlik Sense Migration project. I need to fetch the data from client server into Qlik sense cloud. Client server has very strict firewall settings which they don't want to change. For the database I am going with Qlik data gateway direct access. But, I also want to fetch multiple excel files. While Qlik Data Transfer Tool(QDT) offers a solution, I am afraid that both QDT and Data gateway cannot be installed on same server as it will might cause problems according to documentations. So QDT for excels and a gateway for database, having 2 in the same server is the last option. Can anyone suggest what can be done?
AWS store or any cloud would be the last option. Pulling excel data using ODBC driver(data gateway)is the option I am looking into primarily. Any thoughts on this line will also help.
