Hello,
We're performing a Qlik Cloud tenant migration and need to assign app ownership before users log into the new tenant.
Our users are provisioned via a Google Group. They only appear in the Qlik Administration -> All users tab after their first login. This prevents us from assigning ownership to them beforehand.
We've observed that the Qlik CLI qlik user ls command does return these users (the ones provisioned via the Google Group but not yet logged in). However, since they don't appear in the Management Console UI, we can't assign them as owners. We have also tried creating the users using the POST/api/v1/users endpoint (Users REST | Qlik Developer Portal) but have not been successful.
Is there any way—using the Qlik API, cURL, or other methods—to force these Google Group-provisioned users to appear in the Qlik Administration -> All Users tab without requiring them to log into the tenant first?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Are you moving from Qlik Enterprise to Cloud?
If yes, you could use the Qlik Migration Tool, which is able to assign the same owner to the migrated application.
Sorry, maybe I didn't explain myself clearly. We are performing a migration from a Qlik Cloud License tenant to a Qlik Cloud Capacity tenant. Thank you for your answer.
Greetings, Alex
