Is it possible to group records based on Birth Year Range?

We are using the tmatchgroup component to segment constituent records into either unique records, matches, or suspects to be sent to data stewardship tasks.

Unlike when comparing strings, setting the threshold value doesn't seem to have the same desired result we would like to do.

Is there a way based on the "range" of birth years, we can indicate that the records are a tight match or not.

IE . Record A has birth year 1970 and Record B has birth year 1972, because there's only "2 years" between the two, we'd like to indicate that they are in fact a match / same person.

VS When Record A has birth year of 1970 and Record B has birth year 1954, because it's 24 years apart they would be treated as unique or suspects.
