Talend DQ: Definitions of Column Analysis / "Simple Statistic" Metrics
I would like to know if there are any published definitions of the "Simple Statistics" metrics generated by Talend DQ / Data Profiling Module. There are separate metrics for "Distinct" vs. "Unique" which can have differing counts for a profiled db column - not sure what the difference is. For example, free text field/column with profile results of 0% Blanks/Nulls, 82% Distinct but only 75% Unique values. Thanks for any insights.
