Hello,

Have you tried to delete the old license file: .commandline/license or use -DforceUpdate to override the license to see if it works?

We will change the error log to:

"[ERROR] Please set up a valid license for commandline first!" to avoid confusion in V 7.3.1.

Best regards

Sabrina

To resolve the issue of the Talend Cloud Commandline showing the message "Please set up license for commandline first!", you can follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that you have the latest version of the Talend Cloud Commandline tool. If not, download and install the latest version from the Talend website.
  2. Verify that the license you renewed in Talend Cloud Studio is correctly configured for the Talend Cloud Commandline. To do this, follow these steps:
  3. a. Open Talend Cloud Studio.
  4. b. Go to Window -> Preferences -> Talend -> CommandLine.
  5. c. Check if the correct license is selected and applied.
  6. Clear the cache of the Talend Cloud Commandline tool. To do this, follow these steps:
  7. a. Locate the cache folder for Talend Cloud Commandline. The location depends on your operating system.
  8. b. Delete the contents of the cache folder.
  9. c. Restart the Talend Cloud Commandline tool.
  10. If the issue persists, try running the Talend Cloud Commandline with administrative privileges (e.g., "Run as administrator" on Windows). This can help ensure that the tool has the necessary permissions to access and apply the license. pickleball is a combination of what 3 sports
  11. If none of the above steps work, you can try reinstalling the Talend Cloud Commandline tool. Uninstall the current version, download the latest version, and install it again. Then, configure the license as mentioned in step 2.
