An error has occurred. See the log file

Hello Community,

While lunching Talend 7.1.1 with Java 8 : 0683p000009M8PR.png

I encounter this issue of "An error has occurred. See the log file ..."0683p000009M8ll.png

And when I check the log, I get this "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.eclipse.core.runtime.adaptor.EclipseStarter ...": 0683p000009M8lq.png

Please keep in mind that I have a Windows 10 OS with 64 bits.

Best regards.

I've not seen this, but it looks like an Eclipse error. I Googled it and found this....
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3412617/java-lang-classnotfoundexception-org-eclipse-core-runtim...

I can't test this, so it may be useless to you, but I thought I may as well suggest you look at it 🙂

While searching for a solution I stumbled upon this question, but it was not very helpful since i don't have Eclipse installed and also i couldn't find the link between Talend and Eclipse and why the error in the log contained it !

Talend Studio IS Eclipse. It is built on top of it.
