Can community version push down the processing workload on hadoop cluster. That is can processing happen in distributed manner

Community version of Talend can generate map reduce jobs. Need to know if it can push down the processing workload on hadoop cluster. That is can processing happen in distributed manner on Hadoop or the processing happens on the Talend server.

Hello there,

If you are using a Talend Open Studio and if you have option inside to create big data batch jobs which are based on spark or MapReduce framework(you have choice to select) then yes your data can be processed in distributed manner with the help of these jobs.

Talend server would not process the data but it will only help you create, deploy the code to the targetted server.

I would recommend to upgrade to enterprise version of the studio to be able to use complete features of the studio.
