Data is not getting written to xls file

tFileExcelWorkbookOpen --- > tDBInput ---> tfileExcelSheetoutput

Please find attached the screenshot of the workflow. It shows that the 10 rows have been written to xls file but when the file is opened the data isn't populated.

Can someone let me know why this is happening?

You should use tFileExcelWorkbookSave to write a workbook in the end of job, for details, please read.
