Data truncation: Data too long for column 'XXXXXX' at row X

Hello everyone.

I usually have this errors in my connections from an EXCEL file to a MYSQL DATABASE through a tMap.

The problem is that I have columns like "ID" with only 5 numbers like "34322" and having a length of 30 I have this Data Truncation error. I upgrade the length to 500 in the tMap and the error persists.

What can be the problem?

CANAL2 is for example "Channel First", "Channel second", "Chanel third"

Hi, maybe you have error cause one of your field contain a delimiter character in the field and so all the columns are shifted
