Do the sub jobs have to be connected in order to be executed one after another?

Newbie here: in the attached image I have a succession of sub jobs that have to be executed one after another from left to right top bottom.

I see that by right clicking on a job (actually sub job) I only have these option Main, OnComponentOK and OnComponentError.

Sometime I need a sub job to be executed upon completion of the previous (no matter if it's successful or not). There's not such thing like OnComponentCompletion. How do I do this?

Do I really have to connect all these sub jobs to make sure they execute one after another? What happens if I don't connect them?

Thanks.

If there is no execution order between subjobs, it's not necessary to connect them, in this case, subjobs will be executed in the order in which they are created
