Exception in component tHDFSOutput_1

Hi,

I got this error : could only be replicated to 0 nodes instead of minReplication (=1).  There are 1 datanode(s) running and 1 node(s) are excluded in this operation.

Talend 6.4.1

HDFS: Cloudera quickstart VM

HDFS connection is successful. Name node & data node are fine. I can perform all the operations on HDFS.

What exactly are you trying to do? Can you post screenshots of your job, your tHDFSOutput component settings, and the error message itself?

I wrote a tutorial on connecting Talend Open Studio to the Quickstart VM, and building a data lake that might be helpful. Here is part I:

Hi,

I was able to resolve this issue by making an entry "ipaddress     quickstart.cloudera" in the hosts file. Used the name "quickstart.cloudera" in all my talend configurations.

thank you for all your help.
