Handling Two Step Authentication in tNetSuiteInput component in talend.

Hi there,

Initially, we were able to access NetSuite data using components available in Talend(tNetsuiteconnection, tNetsuiteInput) even though Two-Step Authentication was already functioning while logging into NetSuite platform. But right now it's asking to complete 'Two-Step Authentication' process in Talend components.

Please refer the attached screenshot. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thank you.0683p000009M1Jx.png

Hello @RA_vivek starting from NetSuite 2018, users with admin role are required to have 2FA, to avoid getting such errors you may create a user with less privileges. Please refer to NS documentation:

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Required for NetSuite Access as Administrator and Other Highly Privileged Roles

For enhanced security, NetSuite 2018.2 requires two-factor authentication (2FA) for all Administrator, Full Access, and other highly privileged roles in all NetSuite accounts. This requirement includes access to production, sandbox, development, and Release Preview accounts. The Administrator and Full Access roles are designated as 2FA authentication required by default, and this requirement cannot be removed. Certain highly privileged permissions mandate that a role be 2FA required by default. Any standard or customized roles that include these permissions are indicated in the Mandatory 2FA column on the Two-Factor Authentication Roles page.

Regards,

Maksym.
