High Availability Deployment

Hello,
Currently running Big Data Platform 5.6 on a single server which is less than ideal, so in the process of setting up a new environment to move to 6.1.1 (new install - not a migration) with the intention of setting up HA.
Basic overview (OS, DB, memory, etc. are all within spec):
[list=*]

  • 2 servers (linux)

  • shared storage

  • clustered database

  • GIT

Everything is basically setup on server01 - tomcat, TAC, command line, job server, etc. - and ready to go so now just working through the HA docs (https://help.talend.com/search/all?query=Enabling+High+availability😞
[list=1]

  • install tomcat in cluster mode - DONE

  • Duplicate Tomcat and the TAC web application - this is where I have questions..

The first step is "Duplicate this Tomcat instance" but not sure exactly how to do this or what to copy to the other server. This is the directory structure currently as installed by Talend installer:
[list=*]

  • /opt/Talend-6.1.1 - root folder for Talend

  • /opt/Talend-6.1.1/cmdline - commandline

  • /opt/Talend-6.1.1/jobserver - jobserver

  • /opt/Talend-6.1.1/studio - studio

  • /opt/Talend-6.1.1/tac - tac root

  • /opt/Talend-6.1.1/tac/apache-tomcat - tomcat

  • /opt/Talend-6.1.1/tac/apache-tomcat/webapps/org.talend.administrator - TAC

Is it as simple as shutting down all services and copying over /opt/Talend-6.1.1/ to the second server? (my brain is skeptical...)
Appreciate any guidance on this!
Thanks, WT.
